Michael Trevino ( born on 25th January 1985 ) is an American actor who is best known for his role as Tyler Lockwood on CW’s famous fantasy series “The Vampire Diaries “. He also appeared in the role of Kyle Valenti in “Roswell, New Mexico “. He made his debut in 2005 with the Television show titled “ Summerland”.

Early life and Background
Michael was born to Mexican parents in Montebello, California, United States of America. His father is Fresno, California, the United States of America and his mother is from Zacatecas, Mexico. His grandparents were Mexican immigrants. He did his studies from Don Bosco Technical Institute in Rosemead, California, United States of America. He developed his liking for acting at a young age and enrolled himself at Playhouse West in Los Angeles, California, the United States of America to learn Theatre. His first-ever acting project was in an Old Navy Commercial.
Personal life
Like every other Buzzed up star, he prefers to keep his relationships away from the media and public scrutiny. He was previously in a relationship with the Star of the famous Show “Glee”, Jenna Ushkowitz. They dated for years before breaking up. After that, there was a rumour about him dating his Vampire Diaries co-star Nina Dobrev, but the duo never confirmed their involvement. Michael is very much single as of now.

Career
He started his career by playing the role of Jackson Meade in the Disney Channel Original Movie Cow Belles. After that, he guest-starred in shows like Cold Case, Without a Trace, Bones and Commander in chief. He played the role of Alastair in the eighth season episode of Charmed “Mallice in Wonderland”. He had the recurring role of Brent in FX Channel’s series The Riches. After that, he also played the role of Jaime Vega in the 2007 series Cane. He was the love interest of Naomi, Ozzie in the CW’s 90210, which was a three-episode arc. He got his major breakthrough in 2009 by playing the role of Tyler Lockwood in CW’s fantasy drama “The Vampire Diaries “.
He played the same character in its spinoff the Originals in 2013. He was the first major character to transition from one show to another. In 2015’s April, it was announced that he was going to leave the Vampire Diaries after it’s the sixth season just like co-star Nina Dobrev.
