Carrington attended acting classes to learn acting and enhance her skill set. She got her first project in Tennessee and signed with her first agency there. She soon started getting opportunities in commercials and television shows. Carrington made her Television debut with 90210 in 2011 as Sara, that year she also got the opportunity to cast in a short film called 10 Seconds, she portrayed Elena in that film. In 2012, she depicted a minor role in a television show called Teens Wanna Know.
